- 6 whole jalapeños
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon red onion minced
- 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese, plus 1 tablespoon for garnish
- 1/4 cup bacon bits, plus 1 tablespoon for garnish
Instructions
- Put on gloves. Cut jalapeños lengthwise.
- Using a small spoon, scoop out seeds and membranes, discard.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, red onion, garlic powder, 1/2 cup shredded cheese and 1/4 cup bacon bits.
- Spoon into cavity of each jalapeño half or pipe using a plastic zip loc bag (cut the corner).
- Top with remaining shredded cheese and bacon bits.
- Cook in air fryer at 390 degrees for 6 minutes, or on the grill or in the oven (same temperature) for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
