Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons green gel food coloring
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup red & green M&Ms (reserve ¼ cup for topping)
- Confectioners’ sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Mix the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and green gel food coloring until a thick cookie dough forms.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and ¾ cup of the red & green M&Ms, keeping the rest for topping.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes so the cookies stay thick and puffy when baked.
- Roll 2–3 tablespoon scoops into round balls and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9–11 minutes until the cookies look puffed, soft, slightly cracked, and not browned.
- While warm, press the remaining M&Ms and extra white chips into the tops (I actually added them prior to baking), then dust lightly with powdered sugar for that picture-perfect finish.
