Oh my goodness!! This cheese dip with the pepper jelly on top is spectacular!! It is a great combination of sweet and savory with a kick! It is quite addictive. To avoid eating the entire dish, my best advice is to make this for a dinner party. You will be assured there will not be leftovers!

2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
4 ounce piece of Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
4 ounce piece of Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded
3/4 cup of Pepper Jelly
1/4 teaspoon of dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
1/2 tablespoon of dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
2 tablespoons of thinly sliced fresh chives
Soften the cream cheese and whip on high speed with a hand mixer or stand mixer.
Add all the seasonings and herbs except the chives.
Add the shredded cheese a little at a time until well blended.
Whip for 1 minute on high.
Spread the mixture in a shallow dish, cover and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, spread the pepper jelly all over the top. Sprinkle the chives.
Serve with Ritz crackers.
You can use more or less pepper jelly to suite your tastes.
