Raspberry Margarita

Raspberry Margarita

This is such a change! Fresh, delicious, and so easy!! Perfect for a summer afternoon enjoying the nice weather on the patio. You likely have all the ingredients already, well, except for the raspberries. And for those, I recommend using the frozen ones. They are less expensive and since you’re going to puree them anyway, it doesn’t matter if they are fresh.

Go get these ingredients and get to pouring the best margarita you will taste this summer!!

Live it up and drink it down!

Raspberry Margarita

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 ounce package frozen raspberries, thawed
  • 1/2 ounce agave nectar
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1 1/2 ounce blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur

Instructions

  1. Take the thawed raspberries and puree them completely. I used a stick blender which is perfect. You can use a blender as well or a wire whisk.
  2. In your cocktail shaker, mix 1/4 cup raspberry puree, the agave nectar, the lime juice, the tequila, and orange liqueur. Add ice, cover, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a margarita glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with lime wheel.

Notes

Refrigerate remaining raspberry puree for up to 2 weeks.
